DXXX-TV 5 is owned and operated by the FBNNational. Its studios are located at Fairland Building, Nunez Extension, Zamboanga City and transmitter is located at Adelfa Lane, Barangay Tugbungan, Zamboanga City.

In July 2017, FBN Zamboanga resumed its operations as FBN XXX, with the airing of the first Chavacano hourly newsbreak, XXX NewsBreak anchored by former IBC Zamboanga reporter. The program also aired on the national feed of FBN since November 2017. On November 20, 2017, FBN Zamboanga launched its own 30-minute local newscast XXX News.

Timeline[]

  • DXXX TV-5 was opened 1978. It was the only network-owned station in Zamboanga at that time.
  • The former studios were located at the Phidco Building 1, Veterans Avenue, Zamboanga City while its transmitter was at Sitio Presa Mayor, Barangay Tumaga, Zamboanga City
  • Due to technical failures, RPN Zamboanga aired programs in one-week delay in 1991 until 1996.
  • DXXX TV was off the air to give way to the transfer and repair of facilities to Barangay Tugbungan from September 1998 to November 2000
  • November 2000, FBN was in test broadcasting and on December 25, 2000, Arangkada Balita Chavacano, a local version of Arangkada Xtra Balita, was launched.
  • In July 2017, FBN Zaboanga launched its own local newsbreak XXX Newsbreak and followed by on November 20, 2017, it launched its own 30-minute local newscast XXX News.
  • On July 1, 2018, FBN Zamboanga started in ISDB-T broadcast on UHF 44.
